Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) opens portal for 2017 Applications | Can N-Power Volunteers Apply?

Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS, has opened its portal for applications.

In a statement posted on its official website, the paramilitary body warns applicants to use ONLY its job portal for the application process.

But can N-Power beneficiaries also apply for NIS jobs?

We're sure npower volunteers will be worried on a number of reasons as far as this 2017 Nigerian Immigration Service recruitment exercise is concerned.

Their worries are based on the amount of their details already in the possession of the Federal Government of Nigeria through N-Power.

As we speak, FG has personal and financial details of its 200,000 first batch of corps in the SIP-designed programme.

That's why most of them are asking: CAN N-POWER VOLUNTEERS APPLY FOR NIS RECRUITMENT?

1. Npower job isn't permanent job, you have only two years to spend, after which you're disengaged. So it's better to try every other opportunity that comes by.

2. During NIS online application process, no question is related to Npower whether or not you're an employee of the FG. It's only common for NIS to ask: are you an employee of NIS or other paramilitary?

So, it means you can apply for NIS.

3. It's not advisable to resign from Npower job before applying for NIS job or any other job whatsoever. You are however strongly advised to pull out of Npower when you must have got any other government's job.
